Ohio Country - The Ohio Country (sometimes called the Ohio Territory) was the name used in the 18th century for the regions of North America west of the Appalachian Mountains and in the region of the upper Ohio River south of Lake Erie. One of the first frontier regions of the United States, the area encompassed roughly the present-day states of Ohio, eastern Indiana, western Pennsylvania, and northwestern West Virginia.

North Country Trail - The North Country Trail, more formally the "North Country National Scenic Trail," is a 4,000-mile long-distance hiking trail being developed that begins near Lake Champlain in New York State, and traverses New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota.

Ohio Women's Hall of Fame - The Ohio Women's Hall of Fame was founded in 1978 and has 365 members. It provides public recognition for the achievements of Ohio women that better their state, their country and their world.
